Cedrus Deodara “Feelin’ Blue” (Blue Deodar Cedar)
Deodara originates from a Sanskrit term meaning deity and as the name suggests, Cedrus Deodara carry with them a great cultural significance in the Indian sub-continent. A dwarf strain of Cedrus Deodara, Feelin’ Blue has breathtaking blue foliage yet will not grow to the massive 60m heights of its natural cousins. Native to some of the cold mountain ranges of Kashmir and Afghanistan, Deodara is very hardy and can flourish even in poor soil without too much water. ‘Feelin’ Blue’is a slow growing, almost prostrate conifer with bright blue-green foliage composed of soft, slender needles borne on arching branches.
